The other Human-Pokemon plays sort of the part of Gengar/Dusknoire/Grovyle hybrid in that regard. They're the same, but retained memories, and actively hates Cosmog, hates being a pokemon, and just trying to play nice so he can get back home. This other person probably gets a scene later on in the story, near the climax, where the poor guy is breaking down and cursing everyone out, and how he just wants to go home.
