So how do you think remakes might to affect these guys? Will they just retcon their Orbs into things that activate transformations like in ORAS

Distortion World Giratina will be changed into a Mega evolution, Dailga and Palkia definitely remain the same just like Lugia and Ho-oh, Arceus will probably get a new form as well because right now Mega fug and Mega Mewtwo vastly outclass it. Hopefully they do something where you no longer have to clutter up your bag with those damn plates for it, it's especially frustrating since Type:Null does the same thing now.

I really hope so. I want them to feel godlike again, and I want Arceus to be the strongest Pokémon in the franchise again.

I kinda expect them to turn their Orbs into "A-Crystals", which acts like Z-Crystals, only they don't take up your Z-Crystal slot on your team, and they also change into their "Alpha Formes". Arceus doesn't need an Orb to change into its Alpha Forme, but instead needs to know a new signature move. Having Arceus hold a Plate still changes its type in its Alpha Forme.

Or something like that.

They won't be primal, they won't be megas.
My guess is that the name will be something similar to "pure", "True" or "incarnate", the implication being they are tapping into the surface of their true power, and have been holding back up to now.
As to how to actually translate this to stats and abilities, dunno.

Except Palkia and Dialga are shit right now. Lugia and Ho-Oh got buffed HAs, while Palkia and Dialga still have only got powercreeped stats, and fucking pressure.

primal dialga was in the mystery dungeon series and is very similar to primal Groudon/Kyogre visually (glowing markings across the body), I wouldn't be surprised if they brought it into the main series as well, though I'd rather they don't fuck with them at all because megas and primals are retarded

Palkia and Dialga get fancy new powered up forms that give them +100 BST from their orbs. Giratina keeps the same old form gimmick but now it will get some stupid strong ability in Origin form, like +100% damage or ghost type moves or some shit and a new 120 base power signature move to replace Shadow Force since is 2 turn ghost type move is fucking stupid

Yes, because of messing with ultra space, a divergent universe where Z-Power exists all over the world instead of just in Alola was created.
The remakes will take place at the same timeframe as the originals, but inside this divergent universe.
