Why is ice such a bad type?
I don't understand. They had so many occasions to balance it.
Why can't I have an ice mon that doesn't have so many weaknesses?
I just want to play aurorus..

Nothing's stopping you from running Aurorus. If it can't take a hit and it dies, it's your fault from running it. GF doesn't oew you anything. You can't have every pokemon be Mewtwo. I personally adore Aurorus and I used it in XY. Usually led battles with Klefki and switched to Aurorus after prankster reflect+light screen.

Don't let the retarded "metagame" prevent you from using your favorite pokemon...

Shit man, and give Hail a boost. 50% defense in Hail for Ice-types. Or maybe hail acts like Filter for any Ice-type on the field. Why not?

The "meta" isn't simply a buzzword, it's in place because some types/pokemons are simply better than others, and that's the problem.
They're trying to fix it, obviously, but I don't get why they gave their love to fucking clefairy's & co instead of ice types.

Ice is an offensive type.

Look at mamoswine the slow dual stabs pork of Doom and Weavile the fast pursuit weasel. Those are the ice type done right, enough speed to perform their job in 80 and 130,strong stats and stabs over base 80 power and talking about stabs, ground and dark are fucking amazing neutral stabs to have.

I can't believe they fucked up the ice rock and ice fighting guys, literally 2 of the strongest neutral stabs combined gone to shit tier slow mons that can't abuse them.

We need ice types with 80+ base speed, 110 plus atk and moves over ice punch base damage, or at fault a reliable set up sweeper with decent secondary typing in water such as cloyster.

No, and what you're proposing is pretty absurd. My changes would make ice go from 4 weaknesses and 1 resistance to 2 resistances and 3 weaknesses, which is already MUCH better.

Ice can't resist fighting due to the japanese costumes, ice candy resist rock or ground given how glaciers work.

And ice can't fucking resist water given the most important feature of it being heath capacity.

Do you really want to make grass even more shity as an offensive typing? Seriously.

Ice resisting fairy does make sense, post 20s fairy mythology treated them like abominations weak to temperatures changes, and fairies where ruled by winter in old folk tales...this is literally the only one that makes a bit of sense.

They still remember Gen 1 where only water and itself resisted it, fighting and rock moves were all trash, and steel didn't even exist. And much like that other type they made intentionally broken only to nerf into the ground, they refuse to see that maybe they went a little to far.

As for pic related, it should have an ability that auto sets Aurora Veil or at least lets it do so without hail. Instead it can't even learn the fucking move. What's wrong, afraid of fuckers stacking it with screens it already learns? It would still get hit neutrally by two types even with both up.

I'm pretty sure that they even though of this seeing as Smack Down - a move with special interactions with Flying types is the only physical Rock move with 100% accuracy.

-make Hail boost Def by 50%if you're an Ice type
-Water and Fire types aren't pelted anymore
