A mediocre gimmick that you couldn't even use online that ruined the animations of 95% of flying Pokemon for the next few Gens because GF isn't going to update their models or animations for many years.

Just glad SM didn't have this shit so mons like Toucannon can perch on the ground where it looks better

They made a gimmick battle type where the gimmick was that it was exactly like the regular battles but with less pokemon and moves. So everything. I wonder how they managed to have the common sense to make all 5 of these battles completely optional but didn't have the sense to just not bother.

Models wouldn't be so bad if they were posed and animated better. Most flying mons look really awkward by just gliding in place (Salamence, Xaty, etc) and so many others are just standing around like they're waiting at a bus stop. It doesn't look like a dynamic battle between animals when the idle poses are so boring
