I initially liked Rowlet best, but the internet for some reason decided to scandalize Popplio's hate and some jumped to the bandwagon, not myself included. Even Popplio supporters did this because it was "fun".

because of that, I wanted to not be biased on the owl (because there was something against Rowlet fans back then?) and wanted to give the sea lion a chance, but its evo wasn't really something that interested me and I usually have no problem disregarding Water type starters since there are so many Water type in general. I still find Popplio and to a extent, Brionne cute, but its final evo just isn't for me, I guess it was trying to look cute/pretty/elegant, but looks more weird to me than anything else. And I'm actually really fond of sea lions in general. Nothing against those who like it, I guess.
Still kinda pissed there was so much hate towards Popplio initially, whether it was ironic or not.
