Pair it with a well timed substitute, maybe.
Most people just max out its Sp. Attack and go for the kill with the strongest moves it has and a Hidden Power.
I'm all for gamble sets though so you could try:
@ Black Sludge
Corrosion
252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Sludge Wave,
Fireblast/Flamethrower,
Substitute
Nasty Plot.
Go for the kill with Fire or Poison if you have no other choice, try and get a Sub in with status/recovery prediction then get a Nasty Plot or two up.
If you're able to get that up Salazzle will be a force to be reckoned with.
