Depends, but Araquanid is most likely since it's not exactly delivering results in Pokebank and you are in need of a fastmon that snipes shit. Depending on how offensive your team is, maybe replace Toxapex as it's pretty passive.

After you get rid of Scarf Garchomp and Scarf Lando-T, use a Pokemon that usually gets trapped by Magnezone since Electric Porygon-Z sets up all over Magnezone's face like booty. Any other slower or weak attacker is fair game as long as you're not stupid and switch Pory-Z directly into attacks.

Also, Shadow Ball is a terrible option on Electric-Z, consider using Hidden Power Fighting (for Ferrothorn and tyranitar), Hidden Power Ground (for Marowak and a guarunteed KO on Heatran), or Recover (so you can quickly recover from weak hits while maintaining good coverage).

Not worth it. Offensive Z-moves should only be used as lures to KO or heavily damage a counter (Z-solar beam Heatran is the most common one afaik). Sure, you get to deal a fuck ton of damage one time, but then you're essentially left with no ice moves, and it doesn't help you beat anything you couldn't beat before.

Almost all the sets I've messed around with are good, but not "great."

1) Still not sure if I should switch over to Modest 252 HP 252 SpA

2) Not sure if I should drop surf for scald given fairy terrain

3) Not sure if I should drop Nature Madness for something else.

Definitely switch surf for scald. I've seen a lot of Tapu Fini's with Haze which you can consider swapping out for Nature's madness.

I'd personally use poison jab for reliability/50% poison chance, but gunk shot is totally fine too if you want those big hits.
Also, if this is for showdown your gonna have to take off minimize unfortunately, evasion boosts are banned.

I'll be honest with you here as well as anyone else that uses Pelipper with drizzle but my Azumarill fucks shit up so bad with belly drum + aqua jet + drizzle. I can also see how a weakness policy + water compaction Palossand can take advantage of you using water type moves in that situation.

I love sableye and want to karenfag and also skipped out on ORAS so I never really tested the megas but the mega is just too cancerous. Is there a stall friendly but not ridiculous set for it? The current smogon set gives it fucking WoW as it's main offensive move. I'm fine with stall but this is ridiculous.

If it's a porygon, double target it, especially if you led with a z move. If it's torkoal/harambe, double target to torkoal, unless you can heavy resist,or predict a protect. DESU it depends on your leads.

Would M-Lop still work in postbank? Showdown's not letting my team in the postbank server right now but I'm running Celesteela, Tapu Fini, & Lele, A-Marowak, M-Lopunny. I'd think Mega Lopunny's role is pretty much unchanged.

Well, since you've been out of the loop for a long time it would be a good idea to just find out what is considered good and use that for a while. Once you've battled a lot and understand the meta a bit you can get more creative with the team building. Playing on showdown is a good idea because you won't have to breed or SR for pokemon you want to try out.

Tsareena isn't PU but in OU it really is nothing other then a wasted slot. For a spinner try starmie or even dhelmise if you want to be risky. Starmie is justba good pokemon and with sword banned it should be okay. Dhelmise is kinda bulky so unless they set up or have something that counters it hard then you might be able to make it work.

You don't necessarily need to design your team to always be about getting Tailwind or Trick Room up. You should be able to react to the game situation and work out if it's beneficial to you. Certain Pokémon like Oranguru and Pelipper will almost always be running it though.

Another decent option for Tsareena is Choice Scarf. With max Speed EV's and a Jolly nature, you hit 400, letting you outspeed any positive natured base 132, and any neutral natured base 150. What makes this especially good is that Tsareena is immune to priority, so if you want to outspeed her, you need to actually have something faster. Obviously you should change Rapid Spin to Play Rough is you want to try this out.

Alright, I want to try a crazy ghostspam team in OU. It's a great offensive type, and as opposed to all previous gens it might actually work because we actually have more than one good offensive ghost finally, and it could even be a little anti-meta because you don't give a shit about a bunch of stuff.

These are the three spookies I'm gonna use:

>SD Mimikyu: blanket revenge-killer, setup sweeper
>CM M-Sableye: blanket physical check, stallbreaker, wincon, hazard control

Want suggestions for other three slots. I kind of want an electric+water check (for rain teams and tapu koko,) something for Greninja (both forms) and a ground check. Some sort of grass type would be good for elec+water+ground check but I don't know what, maybe Tangrowth or something. Also, need an obligatory SR user.

48 puts you at 136 allowing you to outspeed no speed investment neutral Azumarill, Chansey and Hippowdon/Conkeldurr

If you run speed investment at all it should be 168 with neutral nature in order to outspeed neutral Celesteela and Tyranitar, Clefable, Porygon 2, Scizor, Magearna and Sylveon

However, it reduces the bulk of specially defensive Marowak a lot so I think the speed investment should be reserved for offensive builds

You don't need two of the same move type on pokemon, go for coverage. So for example, I would get rid of icicle crash on weavile and replace it with low kick. This will make it so Tyranitar doesn't fuck you up immediately.

what are you missing the jump into that wouldn't be super effectively hit by BoltBeam? The things I see would be Alolan Marowak, Rotom Heat, Rotom Water, Magnezone and everything steel type that isn't weak to Thunderbolt

you could use HP Fire for steel types but then you get walled by Alolan Marowak

Shadow Ball hits Tapu Lele and Marowak but leaves you walled by Magearna, Genesect, Scizor and Magnezone

You also need to remember that you get fucked by Chansey/Blissey so bring support for those

I've been trying to abuse Banded Kyu-B like I did all gen 6, but it's not really working unless/until they ban some of these high-speed offensive threats (Phero/Gene) and bring back Mega Diancie bounce support. It is amusing when he works, though, especially on the Marowak switch-ins on Fusion Bolt.

Yeah, I know that Lele fucks up Prankster, but I usually start wit Klefki so it hasn't been a problem so far. But I feel like I need someone who can deal with hazards or set hazards itself. Defog on Kartana works well sometimes, but it gets fucked by Hazards, because the Sash doesn't work anymore.

I feel like, Kartana might work better with Bulu than with Lele or I need someone to get the hazards out of the way. I'm not to this, so I guess I still have work to do.

If you're using Conversion with Thunderbolt you DON'T need Trick Room since that's counterproductive, nor do you need Tri Attack because it's a weak as shit move after you change typings.

I don't know if I'm just retarded but I cant get Marowak to work against Celesteela for the life of me if they're running Leech Seed/Flamethrower/Sub/Protect because Marowak is too slow and Flame Charge always has recoil damage

I hate having to build an entire team around countering one pokemon. I'm just playing pre-bank so far, which has less options of course but it's incredibly annoying.

I hear decidueye + magnezone is great. Decidueye traps steel types with spirit shackle, then you hard switch into magnezone and Boom that's one dead space waifu. Make sure to get rid of shed shell if it has one.

I know you are against choice items, but scar lele is honestly her best set.
Greninja is fine.
Bonemerang is better on alolawak because it breaks sashes.
Ferrothorn is fine.
Consider maybe changing crunch for pursuit on t-tar. Although crunch is still good.

Tapu Lele with Choice Specs only 2HKOes Shield Aegislash with Shadow Ball and Aegislash KOs back with Flash Cannon/Shadow Ball

Tapu Bulu can't do shit to it because Grass stab isn't that strong even with Grassy terrain

Modest Koko only 3HKOes Shield Form with Thunderbolt

Jolly is pretty shitty on Pheromosa, defenses don't matter on it and being unable to run Ice Beam hurts it quite bad. Calm is just straight up terrible on Jelly, you really don't want to run a defensive spread on a mon with no recovery and that type.

What Marowak set gives the most success? I'm thinking just standard 252 hp / 252 atk / 4 spd, but I have seen reference to "bulky" Marowak with special defense investment and only 4 or 16 attack and speed investment (I imagine to speedcreep things).
