People don't understand this whole Guardian of Alola thing. They guard Alola. Not the people of Alola. But ALOLA. Tapu Bulu didn't want anything built on that land, so he went apeshit.

I actually like that the Tapus are selfish deities. They didn't ask to be worshipped. They lived there and then people started settling there and shit.

85 Speed is decent for a defensive Pokemon and her ability temporarily makes her a flawless switchin to lava plume and scald abusers

Also uses Taunt to shut down Toxapex and other defensive walls and has defog if hazards are terrible for you

Doesn't hit quite as immediately hard as the bunch but I wouldn't have her any other way and if I did I would just use Keldeo or Primarina

compare Koko, an asshole who wants to fight, to Kyogre, a moving natural disaster, Uxspritelfjirachilebinaphy, cute things that want to help people but come off as generic, or Lati@s, who just kind of exist. The three birds of gen 1 roam at least, and they're from a generation that had an excuse.

If Team Skull ever did anything REALLY bad then the Tapus would step in. The police officers in Alola save Nanu are fairly incompetent, but they claim they don't need to be good because of the guardians.

But where would the Tapus draw the line? They obviously stopped the UBs from possibly blowing up the world, but there's still the question of "would Koko actually have saved the MC if Cosmog wasn't there?"

Yeah. I like it when legendaries have personalities. I mean, Kyogre is one of my favourite legendaries. And "living force of nature" is cool in it's own right. But I really think the Tapus are a breath of fresh air. Tapu Koko is literally Goku. Wants to fight strong opponents and loves strong people face off.
