What's that one pokemon you really really like for whatever reason. Typing, design or whatever. But is just not that good?

They should've gave it Quiver Dance over Dragon Dance. It's special movepool is great and Boomburst is a even a slightly weaker Hyper Beam with no drawbacks.

This was my snapping point after always just being 'meh' on Flygon. It has a crippling typing that it has to share with the objectively best psuedo (who's only good because how the shit does balance work), it has no place being a dragon, it can't even breed with dragons. It brings nothing to the table someone else doesn't do better. Change its fucking type to Bug already and put it out of its misery.

But Gamefreak will never change a pokemon's type unless it's to a newly introduced type. My only hope was regional and that's not going to happen for a LONG time if ever.

Resisting Stealth Rocks, and having stab Outrage and Earthquake sure is crippling, I bet Dragon/Bug would be a lot better! Who doesn't love to lose 1/4 of its health every time you switch in AND get killed by common flying type moves, couple that with the incredible offensive capabilities of the bug typing and you would have a OU Pokemon for sure! :^)

Regigigas. Slow start is really cool in theory, imagining this huge, ancient creature powering up to destroy everything, but it takes way too long in any format to be anything but a permanent halving of its offensive capabilities. Its signature move is also underwhelming to say the least.
If Slow Start were limited to one or even two turns it would be much better, while still being a reasonable nerf-ability to keep it in check.

To be entirely honest, almost all of my favorites are UU, BL, and NU. The only one that isn't is Tyranitar.

Having a full team of faves that isn't OU is nice though. People don't call you a faglord that brings Ubers, and you legitimately end up surprising some people.with how well your team does when you bust out stuff they haven't seen be used before.

Flygon is good now though, it gets Dragon Dance. Slap on a Life Orb, get a boost or two off, and rip teams in half.

It can also cover defensive holes in certain teams. There's only like three Pokemon that are immune to both electric AND ground.
