Can anyone 100% confirm if you can only scout Plumeria/Sina/Kiawe or Guzma/Dexio/Mallow as partners in Sun and Moon respectively?

I'm not gonna be near endgame for a while because of RL and while I thought this would be easy to search up everyone in the archives and other forums has a different fucking answer. Even the Nips who posted pic related are going "Oh well guide books can be wrong"

I'm playing Sun and have gotten over 1000 BP from the tree, haven't run into Guzma, Dexio, or Mallow once.

Some guy at Smogon who injected his team to reach 200 also never ran into Guzma, Dexio or Mallow in Sun. So this anon and that other guy is enough information for me to conclude these trios are indeed version exclusives.
Too bad Sina is Sun exclusive but you can't always get what you want.

He was 10 in ORAS. Even if ORAS was moved up in the timeline and took place later on (for some reason), it still takes place before BW. Since SM takes place about 4 years from BW, Wally should be 14 at the very least. If it still takes place around the same time as Gen I, he should be a year younger than Red.

Obviously he was bitten by a vampire, and must now stay in the Battle Tree and suck the blood of losers in order to survive. Wally's not going to grow any more.

Never played XY. Can someone tell me what the big deal about Dexio and Sina is?

Like they literally look like random NPCs. Yet they were apparently important enough to get in SM over all the other XY characters that have actual character design and weren't made from customization scraps.

Thing is they weren't important in XY. All they did were giving you every version of the Pokedex and dressing up as masked marauders who wanted to save Kalos before you do. You never fight them as well.
So them returning in SM was really out of the blue. Before that reveal, they were probably the most forgotten Pokémon characters of the main line series.

Gen 4 in the Battle Resort/Frontier thing we had Caitlin does nothing but has her butler battle you as she sleeps her ass off. She appears in Gen 5 as part of the Elite 4. Sounds familiar now?

Where are they even at in the post game? Kiawe and Mallow are in battle tree. Aceroller is in the E4. Sophocles is a challenger. Where the hell are the other two?
