So when bank comes out, would I be able to transfer a Cubone from XY / ORAS over and evolve it into an Alolan Marowak? Or will it become a regular Marowak since it was from the other games?

This one's almost right. If you have a non-Alolan parent holding an Everstone, it'll spawn a non-Alolan child.

Breeding. A normal Marowak will still produce Alolan offspring in SM.

Exeggcute, Pikachu, and Marowak have a flag that forces them to evolve into their Alolan versions, regardless of their origin.

If they evolve in Alola, they become their Alola forms.

The only way to get a non-Alolan Exeggutor, Raichu, or Marowak is to transfer them, already evolved.
