Timid lets the transformed AG outspeed Tapu Koko and I think you can oneshot it with Hydropump if you've got specs.

I picked up a Modest one on my Sun version, don't know what nature I'll get on my Moon version. I'd rather get more power than speed. Greninja is plenty fast. Timid is overkill.

It'd be disgustingly good. It's only slightly weaker than Protean Greninja when using non-stab, insanely stronger on its stab moves, and has an extra 10 points in speed.

With the new changes in speed mechanics for Megas, this means he gets his 132 speed first turn.

i still don't get this meme. Life orb Ash-Greninja after transforming is almost as strong as Protean one, while STAB is far stronger
it's also faster and having a good as fuck priority.

Sure, Protean one have right now move tutors, but next games there is no reason why Ash-Greninja won't have them. It's pretty much XY-Meta Greninja right now.

Choice specs is a good set, sure, but Life-orb is a viable option for cleaning while switching moves.
