>>30795602It depends. Some Pokemon (Like corsola) don't really register as things I feel sympathy for. If it were something like a Lillipup, a Scizor, or a Talonflame I would definitely be bothered by it. I don't particularly like or dislike anything I've mentioned (Including Corsola). I'm sure if (Autism mode) I actually owned a Corsola I'd probably start caring more for it (End Autism), but, to the best of my understanding of the issue, as I see it, there are simply some Pokemon that don't register as something to sympathize with. I hadn't really thought about it before, and I might give it some more later.
Tentatively, I'd say Pokemon that aren't animal-based (or pink blob/fairy, ect) inherently are less easy to sympathize with. No gory fluids might also be a contributing factor.
