ITT: we talk about pokemon games set in varying points in earth's timeline, how period technology would affect different mechanics such as healing, catching, etc.
For example, a game set in a pokeverse equivalent of american westward expansion during the 19th century, or a game set during the equivalent of the spanish inquisition, or feudal japan, or ancient greece... You get the point.
What would the legendaries be based upon? What would the region be like? Would there be an elite four? Or trials? Or something totally different for the player to achieve by the end of the game? Discuss. And have fun with it!
