I think it'll be great, but I'm not sure if it'll be top OU. Fighting and Ghost both have immunities, which is going to hamper Choice sets.

Stealing stat boosts sounds great on paper, but most boosters will outspeed it. DD Zard, Gyara, and Shift Gear Magearna aren't threatened by Marshadow at all, provided they can oneshot it. It does work well against Coil Zygarde though.

Fighting types aren't great in the current meta, so Marshadow will rely on its Speed, Ghost-typing, and movepool. It has competition from Mega Lopunny, but I can see it being a good non-Mega alternative.

If you already have an odd amount of HP putting it in defense is better because you'll take 1 point less from hazards. Very small amount of advantage, sure, but it comes up from time to time

A Normal Type switches in once the opponent realizes you're locked, you're forced to switch out and you lose the boosts
Unless you switch in on something that already boosted like a SS Garchomp Spectral Thief's secondary effect will be situational as fuck and barely be used at all, most people will probably only be using Spectral Thief for damage since the only other physical options are Shadow Claw and Shadow Punch, there's also probably gonna be a lot of people running Shadow Sneak over Spectral Thief precisely because of that (Assuming they're not running both)

Nobody is going to sit there and boost up in front of a Marshadow. Stop thinking in terms of a 1v1 vacuum.

Marshadow would switch in AFTER its opponent has boosted. It can't steal boosts if it gets outsped and KOed.

Yes it has. Offensive Chomp sets are nowhere near as good as they used to be. Most are bulky Stealth Rockers now.

ScarfChomp is still decent, but its STABs do hold it back.
