Alright, so I'm super new to the concept of competitive battling. My friend is really good at it, but he sucks at kind of explaining things well. My question for it isn't really about IVs or EVs because that's obvious. But my question is does it matter what kind of team you have? I mean like, rank wise? Because Weavile is UU, and other Pokemon I want in a team, like Scizor, are OU. Do I need to have a specific rank team or no?
