I liked the challenge of all the coverage Pokémon got back then. Now it's just like they slap a STAB move and another random one, and leave it blank, besides that.

This. That Victory Road was great.
Thankfully they fixed the difficulty issue with BW2's challenge mode, but just like every good addition it never came back later.
