when I saw its base stats I figured it would be one of the first things I replaced on my team, but then he mvp'd most of the totems. I think it was against lurantis that he held on with one hp from the refresh buff 3 attacks in a row and then won. Swift is great for evening the odds in the 2v1 battles.

Gen 1, I don't even remember. I was a kiddo and I do remember shitting my pants when my Nidorino evolved into Nidoking and Thrash just instakilled pretty much everything. So let's go with that.

Gen 2, Ampharos. Based fucking Ampharos. Started leveling a sheep and while I at first hated what he had become, I loved that bastard ever since.

Gen 3, Flydragon. Same deal as gen 2 basically, I went in blind and this funky looking bastard turned into a flying GOD.

Gen 4, Drifblim. Because that's fucking spoopy.

Gen 5, Exadrill. I am autistic for moles so I just rolled with Drilbur (went in blind again) and he just destroyed other mons. Shoutout to Jellicent. Loved this gen.

Gen 6, Skipped it. The evil tree guy looks cool, I suppose.

Gen 7, Noone so far. Only halfway into the third island. The starters suck and my team consists of Hydreigon, Sudowoodo, Gengar and Blissey so far. Ditched the retarded owl as soon as I could.

Before I played Heart Gold I thought Typhlosion was my favorite Gen 2 starter but I eventually gave up trying to reset for a male Cyndaquil and picked Totodile. Very happy I did, especially having Ice Fang in Gen 4 made for a really fun playthrough, and he's probably my favorite Water starter.
