>>30870296Hau's character arc is him holding back because that way he can just tell himself "it's okay I lost, because I wasn't really trying anyway". He's weighed down by the pressure of having his grandpa being a kahuna, and his father left for pretty much that same reason.
He's actually a good character concept, but my two problems with him are:
1. The bad dialogue he's given, basically the DUDE MALASADAS LMAO meme. It's obviously not as egregious as the meme implies, but it's still pretty annoying.
2. His in-game team doesn't change up enough to show that he's really removed his mental block to me. That or the game's implying he really does have no talent whatsoever.
