Honestly I have been playing pokemon for as long as I can remember. I have not once, ever legitimately gotten a shiny, I really want to feel the satisfaction myself. I appreciate the offer on the Beldum though.

I've done it twice. Hatched a Shiny Growlithe in X and a Rockruff in Moon but after the fact I just felt like I wasted my time since I had access to injecting both times.

how am I supposed to catch pokemon with a decent nature in S&M? I feel like it's harder to guess without the dexnav, so it really becomes a gamble.

Shinies are ridiculously easy to get in XY friend safari. It almost makes you hate it, the chance is 1/512.

I actually bred a shiny beldum with adamant (not the best but its what i wanted)
Just catch the first one you see and breed it for a good nature, slap an everstone on the beldum with the good nature and breed it with a 4 iv ditto holding a destiny knot, or another mon in the mineral group.
