Pryce also says his "middle name is Willow" multiple times, and according to that theory, POGO takes place in a time when Pryce was young, so it kinda fits.
It is 100% a coincidence, but they have a lot of similarities. Considering the role Pryce has, which is none, this theory is the most memorable thing about him.

I am in the boat that Z was supposed to come out this year but they didn't want a stinker with the Kalos region and bumped S/M up one year. I for one think that that, while not quite a good thing, at least gives them a lot more room for changes and improvements than other games in the series like platinum

In gen3 only Wallace's Luvdisc is female
In PWT their genders vary
In gen6, however, Tentacruel, Milotic and Seaking are also female
But there's still males

Will in Gen4 has only females
Same goes for Bugsy, but they used to be male in Gen2

Also, in Emerald, most of Flannery's are male, but not in Gen6
Maylene has 2 female, 3 males
Most of Grimsley's are also female

how the hell have we yet to get a Japanese fisherman/fishmarket water specialist yet? It's not like fishing isn't huge for Japan culturally and economically, not to mention the overabundance of water type pokemon and water trainers already. Did we really need 2 swimmers, a chef AND a waiter, and whatever Wallace and Juan are? The whole traditional Japanese fisherman even has a pretty specific identifiable look about it: the blue and white haori, the wound headband, the towl around the neck, etc...

also no distinctly Japanese or Chinese themed Dragon specialist? you'd think the whole dragon god emperor thing would make it an easy theme to play up. Most of them are weirdly modern for what the connotations of dragon types are. At least Iris and Drasna have a kind of old tribal look going for them, but they've also distinctly southern hemisphere kinda vibe going on.
