Talonflame wasn't really that hard to handle anon. Sure it was annoying but I feel they went overkill by nerfing Gale Wings. They should've just given Accelerock to more mons combined with all these priority checks. Would've been much more balanced

Why should talonflame be allowed to have a STAB priority 120 BP move with perfect accuracy? That's triple the power of your standard priority move. Extremespeed gets to be 80 because normal STAB is less common and it will never hit anything supereffectively. First Impression is a signature move and is 90 BP with the caveat that bug is resisted by almost half of all types and you only get one turn to use it.

Life orb is for cleaning, Specs for wall breaking. can't wait for tutors for gunking some Finis.

It's like you don't enjoy pokemon for what makes them special. Beating people with stuff that would other be shitmons like Talonflame and Clefable was a treat love the fun killing a team full of legends with a fucking first route bird.

Talonflame was so much fun to use and would have been such a great answer for a lot of shit right now if it wasnt for the nerf.

Even tho Gale wings could break another easily Talonflame was perfectly balanced, having a fairly low attack stat and x4 Rock weakness.

So yes, this nerf was completely unjustified and the people responsible for it should be punished.
