Did other people notice how bright everything is on MeleMele island, no mattter whether its day or night?

Everything seems to be glowing even but when you move to Akala or any other island the effect is gone? What is up with that?

Probably to resemble actual metropolitan areas.

It's supposed to look shiny and bright, because it's the city and it's big.
