My first shiny was a Scatterbug in XY, but because I knew they'd upped the rates for shinies up in that game I just felt empty.

My very first one was a green machop in Ruby
My second one was SHINY GOLD GROUDON in Ruby which I encountered the FIRST TRY. I honestly thought it was an event or something but I was just really lucky

I found many shines, and hatched some pretty good ones. X and Y has been very kind to me in this aspect.

But this game has not been kind to me as far as shiny hunting is concerned even with my charm. S.O.S chained many Pokemon to 255 and still nothing. Hatched hundreds of shines and still nothing. Please just end this bad dream and give me one.

I've found more shinies in SM than in all other games combined (Only 5 though). Maybe my luck has finally turned

Still waiting for my turn. My last shiny was my best shiny (Snivy w/egg moves and Contrary) and everything went downhill after that. I hit a dry spell.

My first shiny was Seedot in Ruby.
The file got deleted when my cousin started a New Game and saved over my file.

Then I found a shiny Solrock in Pearl.
My house got broken into and my DS with Pearl got stolen.

All my sentimentality got thrown out the window and now I'm sitting with boxes of hacked shiny mons.
