He was a titan when I was still small. The apex preadator of the Pokemon world. When dragons were rare and mythical and viewed as these impossibly strong, monolithic creatures, he was the one who had mastered them. I admired that, how cool he was and how strong they built he and dragonite up to be.
I know now, being older and better at the games that he's far from the strongest champion
and that really he's a flying type user but I never let go of that childlike adoration. Still my favorite no one can truly replace.
