Is X and Y even worth playing at this point? S/M is my first pokemon game on the 3ds because I never bothered to get the last two installments. I understand that it's hated by /vp/ and considered the worst mainline pokemon game, but it's still pokemon, right? I'm done with Sun and crave more. I get that it won't be as good, but the question is, how bad is it? Is it so big of a stepdown that I won't be able to stomach it after gen 7, or is it really not that bad?
