So after their nerf in Gen 6, are moves like Thunder, Blizzard, Fire Blast, and Hydro Pump completely worthless next to their 90-95 BP counterparts?

That would have failed to get the KO.

That's why people use lower-accuracy moves. It sucks when you miss, yeah, but the extra power makes them worth the risk.
