Theres a button combination you can enter into your game, provided you still have it/the save, to get your Raichu back. Google it.

I remember I was 12 at the time when I first saw this and wasn't internet suave to actually know it wasn't a real game. I flipped a coin to either buy that or Pokemon Rumble with my limited Wii Points.
