So, what's the verdict on Ash-Greninja? i heard many people say it's shit, many people say it's good. Hell, i saw some people say it's one of the best late game cleaners in OU. So what is it, /vp/?

is it going to be tiered as the same as Protean one?

You really don't know what you're talking about, I don't know why you bother to be condescending. Offensive Z-moves are definitely used when you want to secure kills or exploit poor STAB/coverage options (e.g. lacking in accuracy or taking 2 turns).

Honestly its best set is life orb, i have no idea what these idiots running specs are doing, this things biggest strength is how versitle it is while hitting like a truck. Sure specs hydro lets you get your abilty off easier but at the cost of becoming a subpar late game cleaner instead of a good fast special attacker with access to a powerful u turn

The problem with Life Orb is it puts Gren on a timer and it wants to hit as hard as possible given it doesn't even have Protean so it can't expand its power as much. The only problem with sets like Specs nowadays is that the meta is adapting with shit like Gastrodon seeing more usage.

Hits harder, but not nearly the versatility of protean. Probably OU, perhaps lower because it still has to score a kill as regular to get its boost. I like it, honestly.
