That's your problem right there, dude. Try using a ball wth a higher catch rate, like Dusk Balls, or Ultra Balls if you can't be arsed to play at night or switch the time of day with Solgaleo/Lunala.

Took me almost an hour for each Tapu just to get it inside the right ball (that matches its color) and the right nature.

Soft reset is a pain but pretty much needed if you want a decent legendary in a cool Pokéball. Keep trying.

Same. I originally tried to get it in a luxury ball but I ran out so for shits and giggles I tossed a beast ball before I SR. I almost soft reset anyway, but it actually had a good nature too so I think I might have used up all my luck for the rest of the year, lol
