Ooooo, scary. Remember in Pokemon Red and Blue, when you first encountered Gastly and heard its ear-piercing screech, how frightened you were? And then you saw Haunter and finally Gengar, and the fear was cemented? Remember how creepy and awesome they were? Yeah, and now we got this shit. A fucking sand-castle. Why are they even trying anymore? Why are they trying to pass this shit off as a "ghost"? Like yeah, you know how scary a fucking SAND CASTLE is? Hahahahahahahahahaha And Junichi Masuda, in his oriental samurai palace with his three asian wives taking turns on his onix*, is laughing at us. "HAHAHA ROOK AT THE SIRRY RITTLE NERDS ON VEE PEE, THEY GO OUT AND BUY OUR SHIT, YOU KNOW WHAT WILL BE FUNNY A SAND CASTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Like, who the fuck are they trying to fool? Certainly you see past this bullshit. It's not scary, it's not cool, it's not funny. I can hardly even call it uninspired. It's just...a joke.

Sandygast line - possessed sand built by children that controls children and adults to build more into them and sucks the life out of them, leaving just the bones behind
Both are creepy in their own right

>>30970695 Why do all ghosts have to be scary? Why can't they be of something neutral like Mimikyu, or outright benevolent like the Golett line? Ghosts are spirits and I'd figure not all spirit intend to haunt others. And besides Sandygast fulfills it's horror aspect with its lore on how it obtains its prey.
