It's been a quiet week in Showderp, my home general, out on the edge of /vp/. It's been cold, as it usually is during Christmas. Christmas is a mixed bag here on 4chan. On one hand it leads to abundant Christmas cheer. On the other hand, the summerfags migrate back.

Summerfags, of course, are usually terrible champs. But then again, so are we.

But summerfags remind us of what our lives were like before finding this website, when we weren't such bitter cynics. When we met with friends in real life to just "hang out". When we had girlfriends and boyfriends we would meet at the movies on Friday nights to share popcorn and laugh at terrible Adam Sandler films.

And they remind us, most of all, of the times when we were young and happy, excited for school to be out, and to be home, for the holidays.

At Christmas, we return to the idyllic days of our childhood, and learn to have fun again.

Well, that's the news from Showderp, where all the champs are shit, all the opponents are 12, and all the spectators are below average.
