Does he just not use Pikachu in the Battle Tree or something?

I've faced him 5 times so far, have gotten him to use all the megas, but I haven't seen him use Pikachu at all.

You do realize they inteoduced 7 new Pikachu line alternate forms and 3 Pikachu line exclusive Z-moves, right? We've literally never had more Pikachu pandering than we have right now.
