I think Mega Evolution would make more sense if it was activated after defeating a few Pokémon (similar to Battle Bond) or if your Pokémon is in a critical condition instead of being available right from the start of the battle. What do you think?

This can be easily fixed by recovering a bit HP or getting a free protect (no damage the same turn as the Pokémon Mega Evolves)
