Its Pokédex entry in Sun basically says that it stays complete motionless and it's only slightly warm to the touch, that's just how Cosmoem is.

Technically there is only one Cosmog. The other one is in the respective game's world. The idea is to trade it to a friend to evolve it for you.

That hardly fixes things, you could ask for Cosmog for Cosmog, but there's no guarantee that you'll get the opposite versions Cosmog.
