The game never goes beyond that though. Once the UBs are beaten back they don't appear anymore and Lusamine seemingly loses her intentions to let more UBs out on Alola.

It really makes me wonder what the point of helping Lillie is since for all intents and purposes you could ditch Lusamine and nothing bad would happen. You help them out of the goodness of your heart rather than some hero shtick.

So if Lillie is the way she is because her mum was obsessed with an alien jellyfish and was basically modeled after it by her mother then what would Lillie look like if Lusamine met another Ultra Beast first?

Like if she met Guzzlord instead would Lillie wear black and blue and be chubbier from Lusamine raising her to be a big eater?
