Not jealous. I found Pokemon overwhelming and intimidating when i first played it, as it was my first RPG. I started enjoying the games more and more every generations as I began to understand the mechanics more. Well, until gen 6 fucked that all up.

If you don't know Digimon, try playing Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth.

I'd never played Digimon before and have played every major Pokemon game on release and that game is the closest I've felt in the past decade to playing a Pokemon game without already having functioning knowledge of most mechanics. It was a lot of fun.
