What I do know is that /pol/ crossboarders are different from /pol/ itself, because I remember a thread where someone got mad at people shitting on him when he derailed and linked the thread on /pol/, and everyone called him a retard there too. Why I say losing Reddit would get rid of /vpol/ is that a huge influx of /pol/ is redditfag newfags from r/The Donald or some shit flocking here.
I'm more inclined to believe the tumblr posts are just trolls, since that is never more than making a "chubby and trans" thread or something.
