>>31055944- PokeFrance was a neat and comfy region. Lumiose City remains my favourite city.
- Gen 6 Pokemon are overall pretty cool. Favourites include all the three starter lines, Aegislash, Tyrantrum, Talonflame, Trevenant, Goodra, etc.
- Mega Evolution, making my boi Charizard relevant in the competitive scene but also giving buffs to other Pokemon such as Pinsir, Ampharos and Absol.
- Inclusion of the Fairy-type, making Steel-types even further relevant despite the minor nerf (would have made Aegislash completely busted if the steel nerf didn't happen)
- Character Customization, providing caps and jackets which are either absent or fucking ugly in Pokemon Sun/Moon's case. You could actually dress up similar as Red, which is a personal plus.
- Great variety in available Pokemon. Inb4 Genwunner, but it was cool to be provided not just a Kalos starter but also a Kanto starter. Not only that but the game also provided other cool Pokemon such as Bisharp, Scizor, Tyranitar, Garchomp, Aerodactyl, Steelix, Crobat, Salamence, Krookodile, Houndoom, Flygon and Rotom. Chances are that X/Y was the closest that enabled you to form your personal dream team.
- EXP Share upgrade making grinding less tedious and more fun
- Super Training and Pokemon Amie
- PSS
- Wonder Trade
- Friend Safari, especially if you have a lot of friends on your 3DS
- It retained Triple Battles, unlike Pokemon Sun/Moon
- Several endgame grinding spots, especially the Lumiose restaurants
- Battle Maison is more streamlined than the Battle Tower. Battle Maison cuts the animation fluff of going up the tower and battling people, and just has you confront your opponent almost immediately.
- Even though Cyrus already tried to fuck up the world back in Gen 4, Gen 6 with Lysandre's scheme somehow made me bother with the sense of urgency. It helps that Lysandre's battle theme is GOAT.
- Overall second to third favourite OST, only rivaled by GSC/HGSS and RBY's though nostaliga is clouding it.
