Sirens are traditionally portrayed as white, if they even have skin, because they're fucking sea-dwellers. There is no biologically sound reason for them to have so much melanin in their skin, they are under water most of the time so they wouldn't get enough sunlight to trigger a high melanin production in their skin cells.
Tumblrinas bitch about whitewashing when they do the same fucking thing but with black people. This isn't even a /pol/ thing, if a pokemon is white on the majority of their body, the gjinka should follow suit. Similar for black or brown. Like I can understand Decidueye a little bit since the hood at least looks somewhat like whatever that fucking Headwrap Muslim women wear is, so I can excuse that, but inciniroar has black fur. That should indicate "this gjinka is supposed to be black".
But you know, they obviously can't do that because "hurr it's dark type so making it black would be racist since it's the evil type in Japanese, but it's perfectly ok to take a stab at the evil whitey!" Except it's not, because not all dark types are fucking evil you shitstain. Absol is dark type, yet is only a harbinger of destruction, not one that's responsible for it. And it even says in Inciniroar's dex entry that it talks big but actually just wants to be looked up to. It doesn't even fight dirty, it just fights like a pro wrestler while shit-talking and acting like a bad guy despite not really being one. It's like how the real edgy looking wrestlers who play the villain are actually really cool people when not on stage.
