The baseless assumption that I'm making for the next generation is that it will have cross gen evos, but only for Pokémon from Gens V-VII. Sort of like a second gen IV, except for Pokémon that werent around at the time.

I like this idea but feel like gf will use more gen 3-4 mons and implement the alola factor once again.
