How come the Unova legendary trios/quartets get cool names while every other trio is just called "Legendary X"?

Opee, this is most likely due to the fact that these are the last few legendary trios that Gamefreak has decided to utilize in the games, and wished to try something a little interesting with them.

You could arguably do the same for older trios as well, depending.

The Tapu have several different names, though:
Tapu
Island Guardians
Guardian Deities
Land Spirits

And the lake trio is officially called the Lake Guardians. The first 3 trios don't even have official collective names afaik.
