I feel like Alola's Pokémon are harder to encounter than other generation's Pokemon despite Sun and Moon taking place in Alola. Has anyone looked into objective data about this? There are extreme examples like Mareanie, but even with "Common" Pokemon like Grubbin they're borderline rare compared to Kanto/Johto/Hoenn Pokemon.
