Seriously, every pokemon they gave a Mega to should've gotten a real evo instead. That way they could've been usable together and people wouldn't have to pick and choose which one of their favorites gets to be not-garbage.

if I had to pick two I'd say mienshao is my favorite viable pokemon. absol I love too but I can't have a team solely made up of glass cannons.

There are plenty of viable options that I like though, like goodra. I love putting in the effort to use my favorite pokemon to their best potential. I don't see the fun in putting a team together solely for winning fights.

This.The only one stage pokemon whose mega makes sense as having just a mega is Khangaskan, and that's only because having the kid out as a temporary fighter makes more sense.

All of the other one stage mons with megas should have had them as normal evolutions
