Can someone please explain what they like about how Aegislash looks? I was so hyped when I saw Honedge because I thought a possessed sword was extremely cool. When it evolved in Doublade, I was suitably satisfied. Two floating swords? That's fine by me.
Aegislash however
>top of "head" no longer resembles a grip, loses all functionality
>tassles now coming from each side of the guard, instead of the pommel
>loses the sheathe
>eye looks worse
>has a shield and can switch forms now, that's a cool idea
>in shield forme, the shield just attaches to the middle of the blade
>in blade forme, one of the tassles is holding the shield while it attacks with its body (I guess)
It just seems pretty lame on paper and imagining it in motion. I really want to like it so maybe I'm just not thinking about it the right way. The long, hanging tassle-arms and the cone-like grip really put me off, which is a shame because it's the only sword Pokemon line we're going to get.
