You are given 20 BST points to distribute to any pokemon that isn't a starter, pseudo, Mega or legendary. Alternatively, you can trade in ten BST points for a weather based ability.

Honestly, what they really should've done for Lycanroc Midnight to keep the theme:

Right now it's in an awkward phase where all its stats besides Attack are just kind of mediocre. 95/115/85/55/85/52 would actually give it some focus. Decently bulky, and actually slow (which would also make it good for Trick Room.)

Both get Keen Eye, which is useless but easily replacable. Midday also gets Sand Rush. Midnight gets... Vital Spirit? Fucking seriously? Intimidate fits thematically and helps with the bulk its supposed to have, and HA No Guard gives it an offensive role.

there is no way, without hacking, to have a starter with battle bond
so any greninja with battle bond is not a starter

You can't get any HA from your starter. Does that make Speed Boost Blaziken a completely different pokemon? A-Greninja is still a Greninja, it's just a Greninja that went through the Keldeo treatment.

but it's not
that's like saying eternal floette is the same as normal floette

its not the same pokemon; they share a name, but have more differences than several pokemon that *are* considered separate pokemon
if it didnt evolve from a froakie, its not a starter

I did put it in a defensive stat.

Midday's bulk is 75/65/65, increasing by 20 each is 95/85/85.

Good news: While it may not get Fairy typing, you can still pair Lilligant with Tapu Fini and run Nature Power. Misty Terrain turns it into Moonblast.

Bad news: Its coverage is still shit, and you have to run HP Ground over Sleep Powder in order to hit steel/fire threats.

Of course, it'll always suffer the curse of being mono-grass.

It was a joke. I just really want Chesnaught to have a good ability. Not saying bulletproof isnt a good ability since it fucks over sludge bomb users, but anything with a terrain/weather setting ability is bumped to OU at least for a short while. As the best Kalos starter Chesnaught deserves that.
