What's the problem with the SM Champion theme?

The intro is hype as fuck, and it swings into this sweeping theme that feels like a big celebration of your journey.

I felt like it fit the tone of "You're champion now, but here's one more challenge for you." perfectly.

first it didnt help that the game was piss easy.
and then you get to be champion before anyone else which is sweet but at least make the challenger more threatening then just another park in the walk.
for me it was a mix of moment and gameplay which made me not appreciate the song. its catchy but for a final not good enough

I like the theme, but not as Champion music, I was hoping for a new theme, instead of a title screen remix.

I was honestly expecting something that felt more Hawaiian, like the way the "Welcome to Alola" theme felt. So it being a Kanto remix was just kinda disappointing.

Hopefully Lillie has a decent Champion theme in Stars

There's a difference though. I enjoyed SM but it certainly was pretty easy compared to games like Platinum and B2W2.

Although the kids who started with XY and ORAS are probably still stuck on the first trial since SM is definitely harder than those at least

Yeah, BW1 were harder. It was really only difficult for me against Iris, mainly because her team is actually decent. Shame if the BW Remakes 5 or more years down the line have a fight like this against her it will be even easier do to all the changes introduced in the gens after 5.

I can't shake out that feeling, people really hated Zinnia but it still feels that Anabel role could have been her given the amount of stuff one person was forced to do.

If anything Anabel had content cut

Zinnia had one mission and was a dragon lover, she got put in her place by fug and gave her title of lorekeepr to the MC

She's retired

Zinnia's character is fine to me, its more the presentation. She needed to have more interaction before Delta really goes underway, or at least foreshadow as to what the fuck is happening
