That's snide, maybe even rude. But it's not edgy. Edgy would have been if I said something like "go kill yourself and drown in a pool of blood" or something. I'm not even sure that that's "edgy," I can't even fake being edgy very well.

Poliwhirl and Poliwrath use the concept of neoteny on their designs, which is why it's still called the Tadpole Pokemon until the final stage. That's why Politoed developed correctly, and that's why Seismitoad has normal development.

Artist needs to work on their perspective and foreshortening. That baby leg on their mega scizor is embarrassing, especially since it looks like they just copied regular mega scizor's body and rotated a bit. It's even worse since they moved the leg joint further forward on the abdomen, so scizor's left leg can't even move the way they are trying to convey.

Nope, the scizor's right leg is in the same position as the orignal m-scizor, which is standing still. Artist tried to convey movement by drawing the left leg back, which is obvious because they drew the armor from above, but as you can see it can't even move that leg back, because it's blocked by the abdomen.

I get that they were trying to make it look like it's walking forward, but they failed.

My original comment was just a criticism of the perspective and foreshortening of the left leg. Someone then defended the art saying it was depicting motion, to which I explained was not possible.
If you think it's standing still, take it up with >>31120521

Plus you can see too much of the top of it's "knee" for it to just be standing.

If they're wearing armor like scizor's you shouldn't be able to see above and inside from the front unless it's bent and positioned behind them. But scizor's left leg can't be behind it, since it's in front of the abdomen.
