2 weeks until we know if Stars is real or not. Stars itself will probably not be announced at the event but if Eurogamer got the Switch specs right then they're definitely correct about Stars.

Even if it's real (which I doubt), they may not announce it at the Switch event. In fact I'm betting they won't since it would really kill sales for Sun/Moon, if it's a third version like everyone thinks, anyway.

Eurogamer isn't a leaker, they're a real journalistic outlet that's been 99% right on the Switch. If they even get the specs right then their other big leak, Stars, is almost assuredly true.

They already got 90% of all Sun/Moon sales. The 3DS is on its way out anyway and Nintendo needs all the software support it can get to make sure Switch doesn't flop.

HGSS was announced like 4-5 months after Platinum release.

I didn't look into it, but they could have different sources for each piece or information. Or their source could have gotten the info from several different people. Also they may not even reveal the Switch's specs ever (they didn't for Wii U IIRC), let alone at the event.
