Yeah just like how ORAS fixed RS's terrible post game by taking stuff from Emerald, fixed the awful last third of the game that is entirely water and shitty HMs, fixed the gym leader and evil team leader's shitty teams, and fixed the wild Pokemon distribution being Linoone, Tentacool, and Pelipper everywhere?

One main reason those games were considered good is because unlike oras, they were significantly better than their predecessors. It did still have some problems though.

To be fair, you were fooled into ignoring the flaws these games had by all the new stuff they introduced into the remakes, but yeah, HG/SS have some really big flaws, like godawful level scaling.

I prefer dive because underwater was a whole new thing. The best thing Gen 4 did with its HMs was remove Flash reliance.
